Enterprise Solution for Money Exchanges

Introduction:

Cosmic Exchange is an Oracle based bilingual integrated money exchange instruments trading and financial accounting software solution developed to cater to the needs of the middle east market. The system being modular enables the user to implement and integrate module by module. Designed and developed using Oracle technology and tools and gradually re-engineered to be in the edge. It gives the user a wide variety of hardware choices. Each module has extensive reporting and can be customized to meet the organizational needs. The system follows a single point-of-input principle which reduces the data redundancy and risk of data being duplicated. With this concept the input is minimized. The system meets all the local business requirements.

Cosmic Exchange currently has all the standard reports such as document prints, draft printing, MICR printing, trial balance and all other standard reports which are required for any size/volume of business. However, the system does not restrict developing new reports as per rapidly changing needs of the organization. For developing new reports Oracle’s Discoverer or any standard 3rd part EIS/MIS tool can be used. The newly developed reports can easily be attached to the menu with the help of System Manager which is part of the application.

The application has strong security features. Three levels of security is provided i.e. O/s level, application level and forms level. The current version of the application is available on any O/S which is compatible with Oracle database.

Cosmic provides the user with a versatile application using latest technology that will be constantly upgraded bearing industry and technology changes. Product Overview:

The system is broadly divided into three (3) areas of operation with complete integration. The financial accounting module enables the user to maintain multi-level chart of account, each customer can have as many accounts as the number of currencies, and each branch can be configured as a separate company so that their profit and loss can be computed independently with consolidation at Head Office. Revaluation & evaluation processes are available to revaluate and evaluate the stocks in hand. Following are the back office modules

Front Office system covers the following modules. These modules integrate with the back office thereby avoiding redundancy in the operation and gives on line updated information at any given time. Separate options are provide for sales and purchase for easy of use and for security reason

  • Payment order module
  • Instant Transfers & Western Union modules

Following are the optional modules. These modules also integrate with the front and back office modules

  • Human Resources module
  • Payroll module
  • Fixed Asset module

Human Resources & Payroll modules include maintaining employee profile, payroll processing leave management and gratuity. A facility to store scanned images of an employee, along with his legal documents and certificates are also available

The application is driven by the System Manager module which is fully parameterized and enables the user to integrate and drive the application as well as to control access to all the options for individual users.
